Welcome to Doha Fellowship

an oasis in the desert

Doha Fellowship is an autonomous, non – denominational, eldership led Christian Church, planted in Doha, Qatar. We aim to be  a biblical, New Testament church in form and function. We have relationships with likeminded churches around the world for friendship, partnership in the gospel and for the sake of accountability.

Our purpose is to fulfill the gospel mandate as given by Jesus to make disciples of all nations primarily of the believers starting in our city, but from our city sending believers and teams into the nations where God calls.

We are committed to training and equipping the church to follow in Jesus’ footsteps and to fulfill the task He commissioned us with. We are constantly reaching out to a lost and broken world, with the good news of the Father, who loved the world so much that He sent His Son Jesus.

We are a community of God’s people that are loving, serving and leading people into freedom and seeing them empowered to fulfilll their God given call and purpose.

We believe God determined the exact times and places that we should dwell because of what He wants to do in us and want he wants to do through us.

In short our Vision is to be an ‘Oasis for All Nations”. A place of growth and refreshment in the Holy Spirit, where the body of Christ operates in love, obedience, power, gifting and in the knowledge of God.

What's happened and what's coming

LIFE @ DOHA FELLOWSHIP

The new year has kicked off with a bang. Those who travelled out of Doha to be with family and feriends are all back. Family who visited family over the Christmas season have now returned back to their countries.

Nicole shared and an inspiring message on the first weekend of the new year calling us to be men and woman of peace that will enjoy a future that’s is full of hope. The encouragement to come under God’s government and experience a peace that passes understanding.

Kevin shared a message calling us in this next season to put our hope in God. That God wanted us to shift our sometimes misplaced hope from people and things to God. A practical way to do that is to call to mind three amazing things:

The love of God never ceases

His mercies never come to an end

His great faithfulness.

Rob has kicked off a series on Abraham, the Father of our faith. Abraham is a model of what biblical faith can look like. As we’ve begun the journey of studying the life of Abraham, God is going to cause our faith in Him to be stretched, enlarged and strengthened.

There are number of upcoming times of training coming that various people are going to be equipped to step into what God has called them to. There are a number of people that have been invited to be trained as potential OH leaders, and there are some folks who have been invited to be trained as potential elders.

There are number of apostolic trips planned in the next month or two. Dave and Cathy are travelling to Bahrain to celebrate the 21st Birthday of Shiloh Church led by Ray and Linnett Boysen.

We are travelling to India to officiate a wedding and to visit Jeeva and Susan in Kotigiri, and Kevin and Nicole are taking a small team to visit Mark and Imee on Palwan, Phillipines
