ABOUT DOHA FELLOWSHIP

it's leadership, various activities, ministries and services

OUR PURPOSE

Our purpose is to fulfill the gospel mandate as given by Jesus to make Disciples of all nations primarily of the believers starting in our city, but from our city sending believers and teams into many nations where God calls.

HOW DO WE AIM TO DO THAT?

The vehicles God has given us to fulfill our vision and purpose are: OPEN HOMES, PRAYER MEETINGS, WEEKEND SERVICES, APOSTOLIC ADVENTURES and SERVING IN MINISTRIES. All of these are opportunities for people to be training and equipped. the church to follow in Jesus’ footsteps and to fulfill the task He commissioned us with.

Loving, serving and leading people into freedom, and fulfilling their God given call and purpose.

APOSTOLIC ADVENTURES

It is the call of the church to fulfill the commands of Jesus to GO for the sake of the Gospel. This includes going to our friends and neighbors, colleagues and those we meet in our wonderful city, but also the country as a whole, and to the nations of the earth where God sends us.

Acts 1:8 “ But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth”

OPEN HOMES

Open Homes are smaller gatherings of Doha Fellowship people that meet in homes across the city. They are led by folks who have been identified and trained as Open Home Leaders by the DF Elders.

They meet on various days and times throughout the week. Open Homes are a place where DF folks get the opportunity to truly know each other and go on a journey together of becoming followers of Christ. While majority are speaking English, we have Open Homes where people speak Spanish, Arabic, Tamil & Hindi

If you are not part of an Open Home get in touch with us at the church office or checkout our Open Home boards at the DF villa and contact one of the Open Home Leaders closest to where you are living..

SERVE IN MINISTRIES

Besides the ones described above there are a number of other ministries in the Doha Fellowship. These ministries came into being to help the Doha Fellowship function by supporting worship services, teaching and mentoring people, caring for those in need, and serving the wider community through outreach. Joining a ministry is a practical way to grow spiritually, build real relationships, and use your gifts and time to make a difference, both inside the church and beyond it, while feeling more connected to the church’s mission and to other people.
