NEWCOMERS WELCOME

everything you need to know if you're new @ DF

A WARM WELCOME

We are so pleased you’re considering coming to visit us. When you visit Doha Fellowship, you can expect to be welcomed like family from the moment you arrive. We are a beautiful mix of many different nations and cultures. Our prayer is that you wont be a stranger long but that you will be connected into the life of the church and become part of this family. Please join us in the new comers lounge in the front right corner of the meeting hall straight after the service.

OUR PASSIONATE PURSUIT

You’ll find us to be a people who seek to put Jesus at the centre of everything. You will find our times of worship to be exuberant and whole hearted, we teach the Bible and do our best to present the truth of God’s word in a way that is clear and useful in admonishing, strengthening and encouraging those who are hearing it. Don’t be shy, please reach out to someone who looks like they have been here for a while and introduce yourself.

OUR VILLA IN AL-WAAB

To serve our growing community, we hold three English Speaking weekend services (as well as Hindi Service), with around 600 seats. We meet in a villa on Al Waab Street, in a suburb amongst mostly local Qatari families. We have been meeting here with the permission of the Government of The State of Qatar and these gracious people for more than 20 years. We work hard to really honour and respect our neighbors, and we kindly ask you to do the same

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU ARRIVE?

For security reasons we have to close the front gate 15 minutes after the start of the service and 30 minutes after the start of the service we don’t admit folks through the gate. We’ve asked our gate keepers team to manage this, so please respect them. Please arrive early well before the starting time so that you can get a good seat and meet some of the Doha Fellowship family.

When you arrive for the first time, you can expect to be warmly welcomed. We’ve got a team that will help find a seat and answer any questions you may have.

Doha Fellowship is a church that loves to worship. You can expect worship that’s alive and wholehearted, the kind that lifts your eyes to Jesus and reminds your soul of what’s true. The music is vibrant, Spirit-filled, and Jesus centered. Many people say they feel God’s presence in worship – not as hype, but as a holy peace and joy that settles in.

After the worship and announcements we have a team of incredible volunteers that will take care of and minister to your children.

We make time just before the preaching and teaching of the message to greet one another. Please be part of reaching out to people seated around you and introduce yourself.

FEEL WELCOME

We are a beautifully diverse community of people from over 70 nationalities– so weather you’re from Africa, Europe, North or South America, Australia or Asia, you’re bound to meet someone who looks and sounds familiar. While that will help you to connect with someone familiar, our encouragement is to to reach out and build with people from all the other wonderful nations.
